CTOne Joins AI-RAN Alliance With Focus On Unlocking The Full Potential of AI-Powered RAN Systems

CTOne, a global cybersecurity leader in communication technology (CT), is excited to announce its membership in the AI-RAN Alliance. This collaboration marks a significant step in CTOne’s commitment to advancing the security integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into radio access network (RAN) solutions, shaping the future of wireless connectivity.

The AI-RAN Alliance brings together industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to accelerate the adoption of AI-driven technologies in RAN systems. By joining this prestigious group, CTOne will contribute its expertise to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of threat identification and detection within AI-powered RAN platforms (AI-and-RAN). With a purpose-built, AI-enabled cybersecurity rAPP for predictive protection (AI-on-RAN), CTOne helps to provide proactive defense against emerging threats across the entire RAN environment (AI-for-RAN). Aligned with the Alliance’s mission to create safer, smarter, more efficient, and adaptive network infrastructures, CTOne’s solutions help to automatically and intelligently detect and respond to threats to the network, enabling organizations to realize the true value of their RAN deployments.

Cybersecurity is one of the biggest challenges for operators adopting AI in RAN systems, elevating the role that AI-RAN alliance can play in driving secure and efficient RAN deployments. We are excited to work with other industry leaders as a part of the AI-RAN alliance to help accelerate the integration of AI-driven applications and create a safer, more resilient network infrastructure for the future.

The AI-RAN Alliance will leverage the collective expertise of members to advance research and innovation in three main areas: AI-for-RAN, which focuses on enhancing radio access network capabilities with AI to improve spectral efficiency; AI-and-RAN, which integrates AI with RAN processes to optimize infrastructure use and create new revenue opportunities; and AI-on-RAN, which deploys AI services at the network edge to increase operational efficiency and provide new services to mobile users. Network operators in the alliance will spearhead the testing and implementation of these technologies, developed through the collaborative efforts of member companies and universities.

The AI-RAN Alliance is a collaborative consortium focused on enabling the evolution and advancement of AI integration into RAN. Established in 2024, the alliance strives to promote innovation, establish best practices, and drive the development of AI technologies that enhance the performance, efficiency, and flexibility of RAN systems used in telecommunications.
